Dr. Tavakoli is double board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. She was a founding member of Foot and Ankle Centers of Frisco and Plano in 2001. She is known for her compassion and thorough dedication to patient care. She continues to pursue her intensive surgical Foot and Ankle training to offer the latest, innovative techniques for her patients.
She has surgical privileges at Centennial Medical Center, Medical center of Plano, Presbyterian Hospital of Plano, Baylor Medial center of Frisco, and Baylor Surgicare at Plano. She is the former President of Dallas Podiatric Medical Society.
Dr. Tavakoli obtained a B.S. degree in Medical Technology, Summa Cum Laude, from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She received her Podiatric Medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she earned numerous scholarships and graduated with Honors.
Dr. Tavakoli received Residency training at Manhattan VA center and New York University, Downtown Hospital where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Tavakoli is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and Texas Podiatric Medical Association. She has served as a member of medical committees at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and Medical Center of Plano.
